Darko Esser’s debutalbum ‘Balans’ received overwhelming feedback & reviews from DJ’s, magazines and most importantly from the listeners: people who took the time to listen to the album via various means and send heartwarming comments back to us.
We have scheduled a series of 4 remixsingles to accompany the albumrelease. All the remixers are personal friends of Darko and the label and are artists we admire. For the 4th and last part Darko has asked his good friends Gene Le Fosse, Giorgos Gatzigristos, Warren Fellow and Piet van Dongen for a proper rework.

The A-side could be seen as the ‘raw’ side of this 12 inch. Both Gene and Giorgos have taken an underground techno approach for their interpretations of Pechvogel. Gene delivers a solid roller, with a drive like an unstoppable techno train wich pushes relentlessly through a desolat landscape of beats, percussion and white noise. Definitely one for the big rooms. Giorgos’ version is experimental in nature, without loosing sight of a proper hook as we have come to expect from the man from Nijmegen. Quirky sounds, heavy effectmanipulation and sounddesign are being hold together perfectly by the typical Giorgos groove.

On the flip you will find two highly melodic and emotion ridden mixes from Warren Fellow and Piet van Dongen. Warren goes in way into deep house realms with his beautifully orchestrated Diep Mix of Dobro Jutro. One for the ladies. Piet’s electroid interpretation of Broken is an carefully arranged melodic groover of epic proportions and thus a perfect closure for the series.
