After his amazing remixes for Tim Wolff’s ‘The Straight story’, we are proud to welcome one of our alltime heroes back on board for a full 12”. Dutch legend Steve Rachmad helped shape the international techno scene with groundbreaking and classic releases on M-Plant, Music Man and his own Scorp and Ion imprints under at least a dozen different pseudonyms.

Steve has managed to stay as relevant today as he was 20 years ago. In order to accomplish that it is important to grow with time without losing that wich makes your sound unique. Respect the past without becoming nostalgic and be open for new things and developments. The ‘Fruit Of The Room’ 12 inch is a perfect example of just that. Old school Detroit-inspired and acidic flavours are the central theme on both tunes, but the production technique Steve uses to create this vibe is very ‘now’. And that’s what we love here at Wolfskuil HQ. Modern & forward looking music with elements from past, present and future.
